You can put a new address point or property outline down, without having to upload it. Please note that you'll only be able to do this on a map that already has address points and/or property outlines. Here’s how you do it:
1. On your map, click on the three dots next to the map name. Then click on Manage Parcels.
2. On your Parcels page, first zoom into the area where you want to add a new address. From here, you can either add an address point or property outline using the icons in the upper left. Use the top one to add a point, and the bottom one to add an outline.
3.a. To add a point, click on the point icon. Then, you can either click on the map or enter latitude and longitude to place the address point on the map.
3.b. To add an outline, click on the outline icon. Then, outline the property by clicking where the property’s corners are.
4. For both points and outlines, enter in information about the address on the right. On the left, you can change a point to a parcel or vice versa by clicking on Polygon or Point.
5. Review the look of and information for the point or outline. If you want to edit it, simply click on the row in the spreadsheet on the right or see this Help Article. If you’re finished creating the parcel, click on the back button in the upper left of the screen.
Now you have a new address on your map, and your team can mark off that you’ve inspected it. As you’re doing all of that, if you run into any issues or have any questions, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
