When you upload a file as an attachment, that file lives in the Attachments tab of the asset you upload it to rather than in the Activity Feed or on the map. You can get to the file by going to the Attachments tab. Here’s how you upload it.
1. Go to the Form for the asset you want to comment on. Do that by clicking on the card for the asset, or click on the asset’s icon on the map and then on View Info.
2. Navigate to the Attachments tab by clicking on Attachments.
3. Next to “Add media, documents, or other attachments”, click on the button with the plus and paperclip icons in it.
4. Choose which file you want to attach.
The file will upload and then appear in the Attachments tab. If you click on the three dots next to the file’s title in the Attachments tab, you have the option to get a full screen view of the file, download it, add a location for it, or delete it.
